It introduces the concept of 'play-to-earn, (P2E)' where players can earn cryptocurrency or other digital rewards such as tokens by participating in gaming activities. GameFi aims to create economic opportunities for gamers and foster new gaming experiences by combining the principles of blockchain and decentralized finance with the immersive world of online gaming. The P2E model has been very successful in attracting players to GameFi games.
